Cedar Commons is a 48-unit limited-equity housing cooperative. We don't pay rent to a landlord — we pay our share of the mortgage and operating costs as monthly carrying charges, and we vote on our capital reserves and maintenance priorities together. Building-wide contracts — the boiler, the roof, the elevator — get bid as ONE account, so 48 units buy like a building instead of like 48 strangers. Resident-owned, self-governed, and built to last.
