IAM Local 734 — Machinists United

Local Lodge 734 has represented the machinists of this town since 1952 — about 400 members across three plants, from first-year apprentices to 30-year toolroom hands. Everything here is member-run: every contract voted, every dues dollar accounted for in open books, every officer elected from the floor. We bargain hard, we buy together (union-made where it exists), and we hold a solidarity fund so no member faces a layoff, a strike, or a hard month alone. Justice on the job, service to the community.
