Fall Festival 2026 — sponsorships & raffle

Resolved

The festival is our biggest weekend of the year — food booths, the raffle, live music on the lawn, and the school's famous cake walk. Local businesses can sponsor a booth; parishioners can donate raffle prizes. All are welcome, Catholic or not — bring your neighbors.

Demand
$12,000 net proceeds split: pantry 60% / roof fund 40%.
Value to counterparty
Local business sponsorships plus parishioner raffle donations.
Alternatives (BATNA)
Without sponsorships, festival proceeds fall short of both funds.

St. Vincent de Paul Pantry — Summer Shelf Restock

Gathering interest

Donations always dip in summer, but hunger doesn't take a vacation — the pantry serves 120 families every week, and more when school lunches stop. Most-needed: peanut butter, canned tuna, pasta, and diapers sizes 4-6. Drop boxes at every entrance; the SVdP crew sorts Thursdays.

Demand
2,000 shelf-stable items before school starts.
Value to counterparty
Drop boxes at every entrance, SVdP crew sorts weekly.
Alternatives (BATNA)
Summer donation dip leaves the pantry short as need rises.

North Transept Roof Fund — three special collections

Gathering interest

The structural inspection found water damage over the north transept, and the organ pipes sit right below it. The parish council has approved three special second collections plus a grant application to the diocese. Every generation of St. Brendan's has kept this roof over the next one's head — now it's our turn.

Demand
$28,000 to repair the north transept roof before winter.
Value to counterparty
Three special collections plus a diocesan grant application.
Alternatives (BATNA)
Water damage worsens and threatens the organ pipes below.
