Maplewood Family Circle

We're twenty households in the Maplewood neighborhood who figured out what our grandmothers always knew: everything is easier together. We split bulk orders so the big-box prices work for regular families, swap Sunday meals so nobody cooks alone, and run a susu — the rotating savings circle our families brought from many homelands, where it goes by susu, tanda, hui, ayuuto, or stokvel. Same idea everywhere: everyone puts in, everyone gets a turn, and your word is the collateral. New families welcome — come to a potluck first; that's where everything actually gets decided.
